 TOPEKA, Kan. – Governor Sam Brownback signed a proclamation on March 27, 2015 declaring the month of April as Kansas Financial Literacy Month.

TOPEKA – March 16-20 is National Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Week. The Kansas State Department of Education Child Nutrition and Wellness team will join with family child care providers in acknowledging the many ways Kansas communities benefit from the CACFP.
TOPEKA, KS – In an effort to address community needs statewide, the Kansas Volunteer Commission has re-opened the 2015-2016 application process for potential AmeriCorps Kansas programs.

Tuesday, March 10, at 10:00 a.m., Board Room, Kansas State Department of Education, Landon State Office Building, 900 SW Jackson Street, Topeka  

Wednesday, March  11, annual visits - 9:00 a.m., Kansas State School for the Deaf, Olathe; 1 p.m. at Kansas State School for the Blind, Kansas City.

TOPEKA – In a special ceremony this morning at the state capitol building, Governor Sam Brownback signed a proclamation declaring March 2-6, 2015 Kansas School Breakfast Week.
