Communications and Recognition Programs

Recognition Programs

The Communications and Recognition Programs team has responsibility for overseeing the operation of about 12 recognition programs honoring exemplary schools, educators and students. The emphasis is on improvement of schools, student performance and the teaching profession. Responsibilities for the program include maintaining selection and review committees, coordinating events, securing sponsorships and leading growth efforts. Maintaining relationships with institutions of higher education and education organizations throughout the state is also a high priority.
