In order to support systems in years one through five of the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA) during the 2022-2023 school year, KSDE's Accreditation and Design (AD) team are hosting system kick-off events.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, all content and new information for the Mentoring and Professional Development programs will be put on each program’s respective web pages, according to Ed Kalas, an education program specialist for KSDE.
The Teacher Licensure team at KSDE has developed three surveys to assist educators with their license.
Here is a reminder on the age of eligibility for students to attend school:
Per K.S.A. 72-3118: The child will attain the age of 5 years on or before Aug. 31 of the school year. Guidelines for compliance with the law are shown below.
