Last week, Child Care Aware of Kansas released the 2023 Child Care Supply Demand Report. 

Accreditation regulations authorize districts to apply for waivers to extend the number of days an individual may serve on a substitute license.  

The Kansas State Department of Education will be sending out a link to an online scheduling calendar by Sept. 8 to districts that had professional development plans expire July 31, 2022, or July 31, 2023, so that an in-person PD review meeting can be scheduled.
