The Kansas Volunteer Commission is excited to announce its 2023 mini-grant series, which includes seven separate mini-grant competitions. Eligible entities include public or private nonprofit organizations, school districts, institutions of higher learning, government entities and Native American tribes.

The Kansas State Board of Education will conduct a public hearing at 1:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in the Board Room of the Landon State Office Building, 900 S.W. Jackson Ave., Suite 102, Topeka, Kansas, to consider the adoption of proposed rules and regulations of the Kansas State Board of Education on a permanent basis.

If no students attended through remote learning, simply check the box directly underneath the certification and submit the report.

Applications are now being accepted for the Energy CLASS (Champions Leading the Advancement of Sustainable Schools) Prize, which supports local education agencies in helping to establish and train energy managers to identify, plan and implement efficiency and health upgrades in schools.
