Accreditation and Design team to explain KESA technical changes at kickoff meeting Aug. 10

The Accreditation and Design (AD) team will share a presentation on technical changes to the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA) model for the 2023-2024 school year during a KESA kickoff meeting in August.

Members of the AD team shared the KESA technical changes with Kansas State Board of Education members on Tuesday, July 11. These changes include:

  1. KESA expectations for all systems in 2023-2024 (Learning Year).
  2. KSDE’s new regional/cohort model of support.
  3. The Peer Review model (formerly known as OVT).

All superintendents and their leadership teams are invited to one of the two KESA kickoff meetings scheduled for 8-9 a.m. or 3-4 p.m. Aug. 10 via Zoom. LINK HERE.
