At the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the Accreditation and Review Council (ARC) will say goodbye to six of its members who have completed the maximum length of service, which is two, three-year terms. Thus, new applicants are being sought to fill the open seats.

To better track and support alternative schools in the state, the Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) Career, Standards and Assessment Services (CSAS) team is working to verify how many alternative schools will be in operation during the 2023-2024 school year.
