KSDE's Accreditation and Design team offers updates on dates, access to information

The Kansas State Department of Education’s Accreditation and Design (AD) team will be publishing its calendar of events for the 2023-2024 school year in the coming weeks.  

The calendar will be shared through KSDEweekly and will also be available on the AD training webpage. 

Dates of interest include: 

  • Aug. 10: Fall kickoff (details coming soon). 
  • Oct. 9: Adaptive Schools Training sessions begin. 
  • Oct. 10: Accreditation monthly updates resume.

Additional updates include: 

  • All members of the AD team will be out of the office on Tuesday, May 30. While members of the team will be available the week prior and the days following, on May 30, please route all needs through KSDE’s Pat Bone (pbone@ksde.org, 785-296-2303). 
  • The AD team’s monthly updates concluded on May 9. To access slides and the meeting recording, click here. 
  • The AD team will be presenting to the Kansas State Board of Education in June and July regarding updates and revisions to the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA). Tune in to all State Board meetings this summer to stay in the loop. Find meeting agendas and live streams here.
