The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) Safe Routes to School program is providing planning assistance and kick-start grants to schools and communities interested in Safe Routes to School.
It may be several months away, but now is a great time to add the 42nd annual Kansas Division for Early Childhood Conference to your calendar.
Last week, the Kansas Children’s Cabinet and Trust Fund announced a new grant opportunity. The Capital Projects Fund Accelerator will award $38 million in construction-only grants for community multi-purpose facilities to expand on the state’s efforts to create new licensed child care slots while adding space to enable work, health monitoring and education supports.
Participants of the Kansas Multi-Tier System of Supports and Alignment’s pre-K make-and-take trainings will learn how to intentionally plan for centers and small group instruction within the preschool classroom.
