AP professional learning opportunities offered this summer

College Board is offering the following AP professional learning opportunities for Kansas teachers and administrators during the summer. 

AP Summer Institutes (June-July 2023) for AP CSP and AP CSA  

Kansas teachers and administrators can register for a free AP CSP or AP CSA AP Summer Institute. 

During the workshop, teachers will engage with the Course and Exam Description (CED), develop a yearlong instructional plan that incorporates all components as referenced in the CED and explore AP Classroom. Additionally, teachers will practice interpreting data from AP reports and tools and will identify instructional strategies and tools that can be incorporated into lesson plans.

  • July 24-27: AP CSP and AP CSA Workshop, Blue Valley USD 229. For Kansas residents only. Register here


Achieving Equity in AP Workshops (June-July 2023)   

Register for an Achieving Equity in AP workshop. Participants will explore how to create an AP program devoted to improving access to and equity in advanced academics for students from all populations:  

  • June 29: Achieving Equity in AP, Scott County USD 466. Register here
