Status Definitions

“TL” status indicates an application has been received in the Licensure office and the file is queued for processing by a licensure consultant in the order received.

APP REFER - An email has been sent to the applicant requesting additional information. (Please check all folders including Junk Email.)

CJC - Your file is assigned to Christa Chesmore for processing.  Files are processed in the order received.

DS - Your file is assigned to Diana Stephan for processing.  Files are processed in the order received.

FEE INCOMP - The fee the applicant submitted is incomplete.  Further processing of the file is delayed until fee issues are resolved.

FP NEEDED - A fingerprint card and fee needs to be submitted for your application process to continue forward.  You can order a fingerprint card here.

FP PROCESS - A license cannot be issued until a fingerprint background clearance process is completed. Fingerprint cards have not been submitted or if submitted, the necessary clearance report has not been received.

FPOnly - We have only received your fingerprints, not your application.

HOLD – Additional documentation or clarification has been requested from the applicant. Processing of an application cannot proceed until the requested documentation has been provided.

HOLD2 – Application is on hold to allow completion of additional mentoring in order to meet the requirement of two years of a mentor program. Applicant applied after just one year.

ISSUED - The license has been issued and will move to a printed and then a not active status during the following business day. A print license button will show on your records when your status shows "Not Active". To view or print a newly issued license, go to License Lookup on our website and search for your records.

KBI MEMO - An email memo was sent to applicant reminding then of the need to submit a fingerprint card and fee.

LA - Your file is assigned to Lori Adams for processing.  Files are processed in the order received.

LRC - The applicant has submitted an application for a Licensure Review Committee review. Applicant will be sent communications throughout the LRC process with instructions and/or updates. Once the process is complete, appropriate action on the license will be taken based on final state board of education action on the recommendation from the Licensure Review Committee.

LRC PDC - Licensure Review Committee is serving as the professional development council for this individual for approval of the individual development plan and awarding of professional development points related to licensure renewal. The applicant is pending for review by the Licensure Review Committee Professional Development Council.

LRC REFER – Applicant will be required to make a request for review by the Licensure Review Committee. Paperwork has been sent to the applicant. When paperwork is submitted status will change to LRC and the request will be scheduled for review by the LRC.

LT – Your file is assigned to Lori Thompson for processing. Files are processed in the order received.

NN - Your file is assigned to Nikkolas Nelson for processing. Files are processed in the order received.

NOT ACTIVE - There is not a currently active application for the individual. This status appears after a new license has been issued – indicating a license is available to print. To view or print a newly issued license, go to License Lookup on our website and search for your records. A print license button will show on your records.

PRINTED - The license has been issued and the file status will revert to a “not active” status. As soon as the not active status displays, you will have access through License Lookup to access, print or save a PDF of the license.

PROCESSING - Your file is moving through the internal review stage of processing. Once this review stage is complete, you will be notified if additional documentation is needed OR the license will be issued.

PROG RPT - A Progress Report has been received for a Restricted License and may need additional supporting documentation.

PURGED - The application was canceled due to lack of response to an app refer or failure to meet the licensure requirements within the 90 day holding period. Contents of the file are shredded and a "not active" status will be designated for the file.

REFUND - Waiting for Refund.

REISSUE - This status code is used only in the case where a license had been previously issued, printed, the status returned to "not active" and the license is being reprinted due to an error on the license.

REVIEW - File has been reviewed by consultant and is currently under review by office of legal counsel. Applicant will be notified if any additional information is required.

SENTBACK - As a result of a prescreening process, the entire application packet has been returned to the applicant because of incomplete information.

SSC – Your file is assigned to Shane Carter for processing. File are processed in the order received.

SH - Your file is assigned to Susan Helbert for processing.  Files are processed in the order received.

TL - An application and fee has been received in the Licensure office and the file is queued for processing by a licensure consultant in the order received.

WAIV REF - An application for a waiver has been received. The waiver has been recommended for approval by the State Board.
