A Zoom webinar scheduled for Friday, Nov. 10, to discuss the Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) Suicide Prevention, Intervention, Reintegration and Postvention Toolkit has been rescheduled for later this month.
The goal of Safe Routes to School is to increase the number of K-12 students in Kansas who walk, bike and roll to school, improve safety, and increase physical activity through policies, programs and projects, said Ann Marie Katt, coordinator of the program.
The Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) Child Nutrition and Wellness (CNW) team is seeking feedback to help inform its Farm to Plate team of local food purchasing in school nutrition programs across the state.
