KSDE hosting Registered Teacher Apprenticeship informational Zoom meetings April 25 and May 9

KSDE has opened applications statewide to districts for the Kansas Registered Teacher Apprenticeship program. To assist districts in learning more about the program and its potential, KSDE will be hosting a series of informational Zoom meetings over the next several weeks for districts to gain more information about the program.

KSDE’s Shane Carter, director of Teacher Licensure, and Dr. Joel Gillaspie, a Teacher Licensure coordinator, will be available to answer questions, discuss the program and assist any district leadership and their potential apprentices interested in the Kansas Registered Teacher Apprenticeship.

Carter and Gillaspie will be available the following days:

  • 4 p.m., Thursday, April 25
  • 4 p.m., Thursday, May 9

The meetings can be accessed here: https://ksde.zoom.us/j/89518729747
