The Fall Vacancy Report (accessed in the Educator Data Collection System) and the list of mentor teachers (entered in the Mentor Stipends system) are due Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Currently, local education agencies (LEAs) are limited only to entering potential mentor teachers in the mentor stipends system. LEAs cannot submit stipend requests at this time. The deadline for entering mentor teachers is 5 p.m. CST on Sept. 25.
The KSDE Mentor Stipends web application (formerly know as Mentor Programs) is currently open to qualifying Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) that entered mentor teachers by Sept. 25, 2023.
Teacher mentor programs will open at 9 a.m. Friday, March 22. Districts that entered potential mentor teachers into the system by the fall deadline will now: (1) validate the list of mentors; (2) enter mentees; (3) enter assignments by assigning mentors to mentees; and (4) submit the final stipend request.
To be considered for 2023-2024 mentor stipends, mentor teacher information needs to be entered into the Mentor Programs application by 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25.
The Mentor Programs application system is now open for entering mentor teachers for stipend review.
The updated final stipend amounts for 2023 qualified mentors are listed below:
Districts/systems need to have all mentors, mentees and assignments entered in the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) web application, Mentor Programs, and submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, May 1, to ensure that mentor teachers are screened for earning the stipend.
Districts/systems still have time to enter mentees, mentor/mentee assignments and submit the stipend request form before the Mentor Programs system closes at 5 p.m. May 1.
Districts/systems still have two full weeks to enter mentees, mentor/mentee assignments and submit the stipend request form.
Mentor Programs, Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) web application, will be open April 1 through May 1 for districts to submit their mentor/mentee assignments.
