Reporting and Operations

Educator Data Collection System training videos now available

There are now Educator Data Collection System (EDCS) training videos available on the Teacher Licensure website under Licensed Personnel (ksde.org) EDCS District Training Resources.

Currently, the two videos available are KSDE.org and EDCS Basics and Submitting the Fall Vacancy Report (FVR).  

Future videos covering the following topics will be added throughout the reporting season: 

  • Entering Staff Data A (Import Text Files, Roll Over Data) 
  • Entering Staff Data B (Find Update Staff) 
  • Entering Staff Data C (Add New Staff, Shared Staff, Exited Staff, Delete Data) 
  • Entering Career and Technical Education (CTE) Assignments 
  • Entering Special Education (SPED) Assignments 
  • Shared Staff Data Entry A (Educators Received FROM Other Districts) 
  • Shared Staff Data Entry B (Educators Shared WITH Other Districts) 
  • Submitting the Spring Vacancy Report and Licensed Personnel Report (LPR)
