The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) launched a new webpage for the Registered Teacher Apprenticeship program. The new page is a one-stop site that provides resources for district personnel and potential apprentices who are interested in participating in the Registered Teacher Apprenticeship program.
The Kansas Volunteer Commission has announced the Mentoring Capacity Building mini-grant, which supports youth mentoring initiatives that implement or enhance one or more of the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring (EEPM) and its supplements.
The 2024 School Bus Safety Poster Contest, co-sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) School Bus Safety Unit and the Kansas State Pupil Transportation Association, is now open for any Kansas student.
Jan. 31 is the submission deadline for Application Text-to-Speech checklists for students who are blind, visually impaired or a nonreader to receive text-to-speech for the English language arts passages on the Kansas assessment.
