Upcoming Events, Trainings and Recognition

FastBridge, Star trainings scheduled throughout October

Several FastBridge and Star trainings are scheduled throughout the month of October, including a fall Star Regional training on Wednesday, Oct. 4. 

There will be a morning and afternoon session for the fall Star regional training. Both options will be three hours and take place at Independence High School, 1301 N. 10th St. in Independence. This training is sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education and is for teachers of all levels who use Star Assessments. 

The morning session will be from 8-11 a.m. The afternoon session will be from noon to 3 p.m.

Other KSDE-sponsored trainings, which are co-sponsored by Renaissance Learning and Greenbush, include: 

  • FastBridge Interventions for Foundational Math Skills: 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, virtual. Register here

  • Matching Interventions to Needs with FastBridge Reports: 2-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, virtual. Register here

  • Star Power Hour, 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10. A virtual space for collaboration, resources and to ask Star questions. This is exclusively for Kansas educators. Register here
  • Using Star Spanish Data with English Learners, 8-9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, virtual. Register here
  • Instructional Planning with Star Spanish Data: 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Oct. 17, virtual. Register here
  • Star Data Conversations with Students and Families, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, virtual. Register here
