The Kansas Legislature and Gov. Laura Kelly in the spring passed HB 2466, the PACK Act, which provides a grant to professional development providers offering PD to Kansas educators in the area of computer science.
The funds are distributed through a competitive grant process, with the total amount available for fiscal year 2023 about $1 million. It must be expended by June 30, 2023. Applications will be processed beginning Oct. 1. Applications will be accepted after Oct. 1 until all funds are depleted.
