KSDE invites IPS facilitators, team members to participate in IPS Professional Learning Network

The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) is inviting district Individual Plan of Study (IPS) implementation facilitators and/or IPS team members to participate in an IPS Professional Learning Network (PLN) that will be convened for the 2022-2023 school year.

Registration for the PLN will be at no cost to applicants, schools or districts.

The IPS PLN will support districts in continuing to strengthen the four minimum components of each middle and high school student’s IPS:

  • A graduated series of strength finders and career interest inventories to help students identify preference toward career clusters.
  • Eighth through 12th grade course-builder function with course selections based on career interests.
  • A general postsecondary plan (workforce, military, certification program, two- or four-year college).
  • A portable electronic portfolio.

In addition, please provide feedback to the IPS PLN Trainers regarding your IPS PLN virtual and/or face-to-face scheduling preferences.
