Public comment period open for state plan for Career and Technical Education

The Kansas Board of Regents and Kansas State Department of Education are in the process of implementing the new Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) in Kansas. This federal legislation reauthorizes the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 (Perkins IV). 

The proposed Kansas State Plan for Career Technical Education is available at www.kansasregents.org/CTE. Comments may be submitted through the survey link from Nov. 6, 2019, through Dec. 9, 2019. All comments will be taken into account in the development of the new state plan.
