15: Deadline for Kansas counselors to submit feedback survey on 2023 fall professional development. 

19: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Kansas Individual Data on Students (KIDS) training, via Zoom. To register, visit the KSDE Training Portal. You must have an account to register. Upon login, click KIDS and KIDS Training to access courses. The course will focus on using KIDS data, understanding submission types and methods and be more hands-on than in previous years.  

20: Emergency Safety Intervention Data Collection report due. 

21: 3:30-5 p.m., KSDE’s Literacy Lifeline office hours. Educators are welcome to ask questions related to reading instruction, discuss problems in practice and problem-solve with members of the team to collaborate for student success. Join via Zoom at https://ksde.zoom.us/j/84727745453

25: KSDE offices closed in observance of Christmas holiday.

28: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., KSDE School Bus Safety Unit Transportation Basics Workshop for transportation directors and supervisors, Front Door Community Center Lecture Hall, 1615 10th St., Great Bend. Class size is limited to 30 attendees. There will be a break from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch, which is on your own. Free. 1-March 4: Educator Data Collection System open for submission of License Personnel Report. 

1: KSDE offices closed in observance of New Year’s. 

2: Star Assessments Regional Training. Star educators can join the session at Waconda USD 272. Learn more and register here.
