Professional Development Council (PDC) Training

Training is required annually for members of district/system Professional Development Councils (PDC), who can provide the training themselves, use an educational service center that offers the training, or contract with an experienced professional. You may also use the KSDE Learning Portal to enroll in the recently released "Annual PDC Member Training" below.

KSDE Learning Portal

  1. Sign into your portal account or create one if you are new to the portal.
  2. Go to the Home page, click on the "Teacher Licensure" tab.
  3. Click on "Professional Development" from the drop down menu. 
  4. Click on the "Annual PDC Member Training" title to enroll. Enter the enrollment key as “PDC”.
  5. At the end of each of the first four sections click on "Mark as Done."
  6. Once you finish Section Four, you will complete a quiz and then receive a completion certificate.
