This is a reminder that the deadline to apply for Star Recognition is 5 p.m., Friday, May 3. This deadline is for any system wishing to apply or reapply for recognition in kindergarten readiness, social-emotional growth, or individual plan of study.
Does your district have concerns about vaping policies, practices, or procedures? Then you are cordially invited to engage with the Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) team to engage in a year-long process to learn more about vaping education and best practices for cessation.
Educate Kansas https://educatekansas.org/ is sharing free marketing materials every week through the first full week of May, Teacher Appreciation Week, to help support your teacher recruitment efforts and promote the teaching profession.
There’s still time for graduating Kansas seniors to participate in the “Kansans Can, and I Am” social media campaign. The Kansas State Department of Education needs your help to promote these accomplished students through your district’s social media channels and tagging KSDE in your posts beginning May 1.
