Please Complete the Leadership Mentoring Status Survey

KSDE will be sending out a survey the week of October 16, 2023, to school systems for information about their leadership mentoring programs. This survey will be based on the one we sent last spring and is the tool KSDE will use to determine KESA Compliance in this area. It will cover the 2023-24 academic school year and will ask for the number of building and district leaders that have received mentoring in your district/private system and whether the mentoring was provided locally or using an outside provider. Although most systems completed the Spring 2022 survey, KSDE will be resending it to those that did not. Both will be due by November 6, 2023.

The data will cover the last four academic years and KSDE will analyze it for trends such as the number and types of leaders mentored, mentoring providers, etc.

Please contact Ed Kalas at ekalas@ksde.org with any questions.
