Four Kansas educators are being recognized for their outstanding teaching skills through the prestigious Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) program.
Kansas is experiencing growth in the number of students pursuing and receiving certificates and degrees after high school, Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson told the Kansas State Board of Education on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Schools across the state are observing Kansas Anti-Bullying Awareness Week from Oct. 7-13. This year’s theme is “Choose Peace.”
