The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Child Care Licensing Team is conducting a comprehensive review of Kansas child care licensing regulations.
As part of that process, KDHE invites Kansas child care providers, directors and staff members to a listening and feedback session. The event will take place virtually from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 24. Registration is required.
All providers are welcome to attend the entire session, but each hour will be dedicated to specific licensed facilities as follows:

Amanda Petersen, director of the Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) Early Childhood team, and Laura Hodgson, a KSDE Child Nutrition and Wellness consultant, both serve as members of the KDHE Child Care Licensing System Improvement Team, the advisory group for KDHE Child Care Licensing.
