Commissioner's Superintendent Advisory Council meets in Topeka

Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson spoke with members of the Commissioner’s Superintendent Advisory Council on Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Topeka. 

There are 27 superintendents who serve on the Advisory Council, which began meeting in October 2020. The group meets twice per year to stay up to date on education topics and to offer feedback to Watson. On Tuesday, 24 superintendents attended. 

Watson also has additional advisory councils – teachers, special education directors, principals and curriculum leaders.
