TOPEKA – During the May meeting of the Kansas State Board of Education, board members voted unanimously to accredit all public Kansas schools and all independent Kansas schools for the 2015-16 school year.
TOPEKA—Fifty-one Kansas schools and school districts will be honored during a special ceremony on May 7 at the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site for their work in character education, which focuses on students’ social, emotional and character development.
Thank you for being shapers of dreams, creators of excellence, protectors of children and stewards of education.

 Incoming Kansas Education Commissioner Dr. Randy Watson and Interim Commissioner of Education Brad Neuenswander are continuing community conversations titled Kansas Children. Kansas’ Future. with a focus on reaching the business community.
