Because of the possibility for treacherous weather, the Kansas State Board of Education has cancelled its plans to have its December meeting in Olathe. Attached are agendas for 2 scenarios:

1) If the ice storm does not occur and the weather is cooperating, the State Board of Education will meet in Topeka on Tuesday, December 11th, beginning at 1:30 p.m. It will also meet on Wednesday, December 12th, beginning at 9 a.m.  Click Here to View the Good Weather Agenda

2) If there is an ice storm or significant snow, the second agenda is for a short conference call meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. Click Here to View the Inclement Weather Agenda

An announcement of the cancellation will be sent to television and radio stations on December 11, by 6:30 a.m., if the Tuesday meeting has been cancelled. In that event, the Inclement Weather agenda will be instituted for Wednesday.
