TOPEKA, June 7, 2007/The Kansas State Board of Education will hold its regular monthly board meeting on June 12 – 13, 2007, at the State Department of Education. During the two-day meeting in Topeka, the Board will receive a report on the National Staff Development Council Coaching grant. Also on Tuesday, the Board will hold a public hearing on Teacher Licensure Regulations S.B.R. 91-1-201, 91-1-202, 91-1-203, and 91-1-204, and new regulation 91-1-234. On Wednesday, the Board will receive staff response and act to adopt teacher licensure regulations. The Board will act on an agreement to transfer territory from USD 337 (Royal Valley) to USD 336 (Holton) and will hear a presentation concerning the Kansas Commission on Learning.
