Helen Quinn, chair of the Framework writing committee, and Okhee Lee, Professor of Education at Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University, discuss NGSS and ELLs. Helen Quinn and Okhee Lee summarize major shifts in the NGSS and share tools and resources to help teachers of ELLs navigate this new landscape. They also discuss language demands and learning opportunities as ELLs participate in the science and engineering practices. |
