17. There is an accredited private school within our district boundaries that we are attempting to consult with about the their participation in this grant, but they are unresponsive. What should we do to ensure we have appropriate documentation to sign off on the private school participation assurance?

For the local professional learning training plans in the grant application template, do we only list the 6 days of professional development, or do you want all of the Professional Learning activities planned (i.e. facilitator training, ALTEC sessions, state/national conference, school observations, PLC meetings, etc.)?

19. How do we calculate the costs for the trainings the facilitator and participating teachers are required to attend? Is there a registration fee for these trainings?

20. My district is not listed in the RFA as meeting the poverty level requirement (TRC RFA, appendix A), but we ARE on improvement or we have a substanstial need for technology assistance. Are we eligible?

21. Our district is "on watch" for the first time this year, not on improvement. Will we be considered eligible for the TRC grant?

32. Some of the laptops, projectors, Interactive Whiteboards in our classrooms were purchased within the last 12-18 months. Is that ok? Does the equipment have to be brand new in order to meet the high level access requirement?

33. What about the iPad 2 that was just released on March 11, 2011? Can it be considered a substitute for a laptop?

34. Can a paraprofessional serve as a TRC Facilitator?

35. If our facilitator already attended the INTEL training and is certified, will they be required to attend the training again?
