The Kansas State Department of Education with guidance from the Educational Testing Service experts, in collaboration with the Kansas Learning Network schools, will develop a reliable, researched based evaluation instrument that conforms to the federal mandates.  This model instrument will be available for use by all Kansas districts that choose to implement it.  Kansas institutions of higher education offering educator preparation programs are participating in the group as well.
