Concentration Elective Description: The Data Quality Certification Program Concentration in Assessments and Accountability Data is designed to increase understanding of the specific data collected by the KSDE in relation to State assessments and accountability measures.
Target Audience: DQC participants seeking certification may include this optional concentration in their certification coursework. However, this concentration may also be taken by those not seeking certification in the DQC Program. The Assessments and Accountability Student Data Concentration is open to school and district staff, SIS Vendors, KSDE employees, State Assessment Coordinators, or anyone seeking to understand more about how assessment and accountability data is reported to KSDE.
Course Delivery Methods:
1. Participants may complete the session participation requirement by choosing one of the following two options

Participants are required to view the recording prior to completing the homework exercises. If a participant attends a regional conference presentation, then he/she does not need to view an online recording.

If a participant views the recording, then he/she does not need to participate in a conference session.
2. Homework Exercises
a. Participants are required to complete all homework exercises via the online learning management site, Quia.com. After attending the Assessments and Accountability Data Concentration session, participants will be required to complete a series of follow-up homework exercises in Quia.
