Standards and Curriculum

The Kansas Department of Education has not formally adopted separate technology standards for Prek-12.  To assist school districts in developing local computer education curriculum and to ensure development of student technology literacies, KSDE recommends using the following guiding resources:

Kansas Department of Education Library Media Standards (which includes information literacies) and Updated Draft for the Library Media Standards (incl. information & technology literacies):  http://www.ksde.org/Default.aspx?tabid=3511#lmtStd

ISTE National Educational Technology Standards:  http://www.iste.org/standards.aspx

KSDE 21st Century Skills and Profiles for 21st Century Learner :  http://www.ksde.org/learn21

Crosswalk from the State of Washington: Common Core & Ed Tech
