Teacher Leader Assessment Pilot 2

The T-Lead, Kansas’ combined content and performance assessment for the Teacher Leader endorsement, is being piloted again this year. During the dates listed above, you may participate in the pilot if you meet the eligibility requirements listed below. All pilot and assessment requirements are outlined in the information provided by selecting the "Materials" link.

Teacher Leader Pilot Eligibility Requirements:

• Have earned a graduate degree by December 2012;
• Verification of a minimum of 3.25 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale in graduate coursework;
• Verification of a currently-valid Kansas professional teaching license;
• Verification of at least one year of recent accredited experience or at least eight recent semester credit hours; and 
• Verification of at least five full years of accredited experience by May 2012.  

Note: The "Intent to Participate in the Kansas Teacher Leader Assessment for Pilot #2" form contains a section to verify your accredited experience. If your current position is not as a classroom teacher, please copy the form as many times as needed to also verify your classroom teaching experience. A hard copy of this form should be submitted to the Kansas State Department of Education, in care of Lynn Bechtel, by June 1, 2012, if you wish to participate in the pilot.
