 | Addendum Documents for plans submitted on 2004 and after - Friday, October 30, 2009The Addendum and Budget Addendum documents have been posted for those district who submitted in 2004 and after and cover material required for E-rate compliance. If you have not already completed an Addendum covering the three years of your approved Technology Plan or do not have a copy on hand you can use these documents to generate a new printed copy to store in your E-rate binder.
Districts that are submitting for plans with coverage starting on July 1, 2010 will not need to complete this addendum as the new Online Submission Portal will have this information included in the Techonology Plan itself and not as separate addendum. read more ... |
 | Real World Design Challenge - Thursday, October 29, 2009It is not too late to sign up, but the deadline of November 16, 2009 is coming up soon. Schools participate in the Challenge at no cost to them. And through a partnership with the governor, companies will be providing $1 million in professional engineering software to each teacher who enters a team. Federal agencies, corporations, universities, and non-profits will be providing expertise, and each participating team gets up to four mentors in science, math, engineering, and aeronautical design.
For this year’s Challenge, students will design the tail section of a plane maximizing for fuel efficiency. Teams consist of three to seven high school students with a teacher to coach them.
