Goals of the Grant:
- Integrate the Character Education Principles within the performance and moral culture of Kansas’ high schools while maintaining consistency with the state’s core academic content standards in mathematics, reading, science, and social studies.
- Collaborate with other educational reform efforts to foster high academic achievement and good moral character of Kansas’ students at the secondary level.
Research question:
Will implementation of the Kansas Character Education Initiative result in improvements in academic performance as well as improved personal and civic virtues in Kansas’ high schools?
