Kansas State Pupil Transportation Association (KSPTA) was formed in 1970 by a forward looking group of dedicated transportation professionals. It was formed to enhance and ensure the safety of students transported via school bus in the State of Kansas. To this end, the organization is still dedicated
We are quickly coming up on the district Bus Rodeo competitions for 2017. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to offer district bus rodeos for the North Central, Southwest or the Northwest districts. The KSPTA Board has invited all Kansas drivers to participate in the district competitions as outlined below.
The KSPTA drivers who are part of the North Central district are invited to participate in the Northeast competition that will be held at Washburn Rural High School located at 5900 Southwest 61st Street, Topeka, Kansas. The competition will be on Saturday, May 13 and registration will run from 7:30 am to 8:00 am. Competition for conventional and mini buses will be held at this location.
The KSPTA drivers who are part of the Southwest or the Northwest districts are invited to participate in the South Central competition that will be held at Northeast Magnet High School, 5550 North Lycee in Bel Aire, Kansas. The competition will be on Saturday, May 6 and registration will start at 8:30 am and run until 9:00 am. This location will also hold the competition for transit buses, mini buses and conventional buses.
